Fistful of Lead: Core Rulebook - Printed
The long awaited Core Rule Book from Wiley Games, makers of Fistful of Lead, is finally here.
The Fistful of Lead System is:
Get the Core Rulebook, grab 10 – 12 miniatures, a deck of cards, a tape measure and some d10 dice. If you love it, add supplements to your catalog as your miniatures demand.
The long-time favorite Fistful of Lead started as a Wild West game with card-driven mechanics that created Hollywood action. Now Wiley Games presents the Core Rule Book. The Core Rule Book can be used with multiple periods and genres, while still giving you the unique card driven mechanics that keep the action going.
We here at Wiley Games love skirmish level wargaming, because we can play new periods or genres without huge commitments of time and money. In most games, each player can control up to 5-6 miniatures without much trouble. Games can have up to 8 players without slowing down the game. Now, you can dig out all your old miniatures gathering dust and have a game ready to go in a few minutes.
That's why Fistful of Lead Core Rules are so great. This is a wildly adaptable ruleset. Been wanting to do modern? This is your book. How about Vikings? Everything you need is right here.
Here are just a few periods for which fans have used the Core Rules (sometimes with a little help from a supplement. Example: Fistful of Lead Horse and Musket);
Wiley Games plans to release supplements for all the genres and periods you've dreamed of. If you are new to Wiley Games Fistful of Lead, this is where your journey begins. If you are a longtime fan, the future is here.
Experienced wargamers and new players alike will enjoy this game. It's perfect for convention games and one-on-one skirmishes.
We welcome new customers to Wiley Games every day who have played the popular rules. They have become bored. They seek a haven of fun gaming rules and their miniatures are happy.
Play Wiley Games. Your miniatures will thank you.
"These are genuine skirmish games...The rules make no pretence at being a simulation. Instead, they provide a fast and fun game...My first impression is very favourable. There are plenty of times when I fancy a quick game, particularly using figures that don't get a regular outing."
